Ch.7: First Circus

Comic, The Great Barley and Bay-Lily Circus

Peering into the tent, Gemini sees the start of a performance lit by bright lights. The circus performer is an ogre with one giant eye, traipsing on floating rings.

Gemini pushes her way into the audience. "'Scuse me", Gemini says

Gemini sits snuggly between a dullahan, wolver, and other mythical creatures.

Gemini settles in her seat. "This is my first circus" she says to another seated guest.

The performer settles to the center of a circus ring, decorated in mushroom motifs. She smiles and bows.

The crowd applauses. A dullahan whistles and cheers

she turns to the back of the stage to leave. Gemini and the crowd continue to cheer

Beyond the view of the crowd, the circus performance begins to shed a tear. Her eye glows an ghostly green.

The performer ignores the applause and looks to the sky

The moon, which resembles an eye surrounded by glimmering scales, looks to be waning
